Los Muertos Polychrome is most similar to Gila Polychrome, but the design includes painted red lines and black designs over white slip. Los Muertos Polychrome pottery has been found in Verde Valley, Agua Fria-Perry Mesa, lower Salt River Valley, Middle Gila Valley, Santa Cruz Flats, Tonto Basin, Safford, and possibly the same area where Gila Polychrome has been found.
